This page shows the complete consent experience for one specific text message program: the lead alerts we send to business owners who are our own paying customers. It is published so that anyone — a customer, a carrier, or a message reviewer — can see exactly how consent is asked for and exactly how it is given, without needing an account or a login.
A real person fills out a quote request on the business owner's own website, or calls or texts his business line. That single event sends that single owner one text with the customer's name, phone number, and a one-line summary, so he can return the call promptly. There is no schedule, no recurring send, no marketing, and no bulk send. If nobody enquires, nobody is texted.
After a client has purchased, we ask which mobile number should receive alerts. This is the actual wording of the request, sent by email or text to the owner:
“Which mobile number should get your new-customer alerts? When someone fills out the quote form on your site, we’ll text that number their name, phone, and what they need, so you can call them back fast.
To switch it on, reply with: ‘Yes, text lead alerts to [number].’
Message frequency varies — you only get a text when a real customer enquiry comes in, so there is no schedule and no recurring send. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any alert to turn texts off for that number immediately, or HELP for our contact details.
This is optional. Your alerts will keep coming by email either way, and saying no does not affect your service, your price, or anything else you bought. Full terms: autofinish.ai/sms-terms · Privacy: autofinish.ai/privacy”
Nothing is switched on until the owner replies affirmatively. A pre-checked box, a verbal “sure,” or our own assumption is not accepted as consent. This is a representative confirmation, the form the reply actually takes:
“Yes, text lead alerts to (818) 555–0147.”
That reply — the email or the text message itself — is retained as the consent record, together with the date it arrived and the exact wording the owner was shown when he agreed. We keep it for as long as we may need to demonstrate that consent was given, because the burden of proving it sits with us and not with him.
“Project Continuum (autofinish.ai): you are set up for lead alerts at this number. We will text you when a new customer enquiry arrives on your site. Msg&data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”
| Item | Disclosure |
|---|---|
| Program | Lead alerts for business owners who are our paying customers. Transactional. Not marketing. |
| Message frequency | Varies with real customer activity on the owner's own site. No schedule, no recurring send. |
| Cost | Message and data rates may apply. We never charge for a text; any charge comes from the recipient's own mobile carrier under his own plan. |
| How to stop | Reply STOP to any message. Texting to that number stops immediately. |
| How to get help | Reply HELP to any message, or email support@autofinish.ai. |
| Consent and purchase | Consent is not a condition of purchase. Declining texts changes nothing about the service, the price, or the lead alerts delivered by email. |
| Number sharing | We do not sell, rent, trade, or share mobile numbers or consent to be texted with any third party, and never for marketing or lead generation. Only the telecommunications providers required to deliver a message ever handle the number. |
Every lead is written to our records the instant it arrives, before any alert is attempted. Email is the primary delivery channel and stays that way. Text is a convenience layer on top of it, so an owner who opts out, or a text that fails to deliver, never means a lost customer enquiry.
